Stanford Stretton's Bird Fair 30 Sept - 2 Oct - where birds of a feather flock together...

Dear Amanzi1

STANFORD STRETTON’S BIRD FAIR 2011 30 SEPTEMBER - 2 OCTOBER

The birds are preening their feathers to be in time for this year's Bird Fair and to look their best for the annual Stanford Birding Photographic Competition. www.stanfordbirding.co.za

Apart from putting together an array of top class bird speakers we have decided to including ecologically important non-birding events such as the fascinating Strandlopers cave at de Kelders. The popular Eagle Encounters plus a variety of other special activities aimed at children will take place during the Fair.

Boating trips will be running the whole weekend along with the excellent Stanford Farmers market on Friday, 30th September.

Keep an eye on the program for up to date details of all events and outings.

The Stanford Birding Photographic Competition is becoming an ever popular part of the Stanford Bird Fair and this year we are pleased to inform you the 2011 STANFORD BIRDING Photographic Competition has already begun!

Entries submitted thus far can be viewed in two online locations and your comments will be most welcome and appreciated:
